Fiddlie-I-Ay and Small Time Stringband

Fiddlie-I-Ay playing at Kitzel's
 at KITZEL'S
Saturday, Sept 22
6-8pm
You can delight in delicious delicatessen delicacies while being entertained by local family band Fiddlie-I-Ay and Seattle favorites Small Time Stringband. Then bust out your own instrument and pull up a chair for an open old time music jam.

Fiddlie-I-Ay is a family stringband from Olympia, Washington. Sisters Maggie and Ruby Neatherlin anchor the band on fiddle and mandolin. They are backed up on banjo, ukulele, guitar by their parents Erik Neatherlin and Emily Teachout and and family-friend Rich Hoey
on bass. They play rolicking old time fiddle tunes, vintage songs, and mountain ballads with the aim of making you smile, and maybe even dance, to their lively old timey tunes! They were recently featured on a compilation album of kid-oriented music called PB & Jam with their mentor Professor Banjo and are often seen busking around town or playing for square dances and parties.

The Smalltime Stringband is a family band that plays old time music in and around Seattle Washington. The two brothers in the band, Oliver and Eli, have been playing music for as long as they can remember. They also love busking on the streets of Seattle and gained their inspiration from the Northwest fiddlers and string bands in the area. They've got a brand new CD out called "Perfect Pitch" featuring Oliver's rip-roaring fiddle and Eli's steller banjo playing.

Suggested donation $5 per person/$15 per family requested.

He has created a new mode of Israeli peace activity based on nonviolent direct action and civil disobedience in the Occupied Territories. Halper was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by the American Friends Service Committee for his work "to liberate both the Palestinian and the Israeli people from the yoke of structural violence" and "to build equality between their people by recognizing and celebrating their common humanity".
